Crystal Code offer an extensive range of durable, printable films electronic sticker suitable for
electronic components and appliances. Applications include variable information labels, branding,
warning and identification, manufacturing tracking identification and tamper-evident materials to
identify fraudulent use or opening of goods or packaging. All these labelstocks offer excellent prin
ted image quality, dimensional stability, durability and heat resistance and are designed to remain
firmly affixed and clearly legible to the end of the product’s life.
We continually research and develop new labelling solutions for the electronic and appliance indu
stries. This has led to innovations such as a recyclable range, which uses a plastic film face made of
the same material as the container. The advantage of this is that both component and label can be
recycled in the same process, without removing the label first.
The range offers four different face materials: polyimide (PI); polypropylene (PP); polyester (PET) and
acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS). These face materials can be combined with our range of adhe
sives to meet widely varying specifications. For demanding applications where greater abrasion or
chemical resistance is required, a choice of over-laminating films is also available.

| For most of the 2 mil high temperature polyimide products there is a cost effective 1 mil alternative that maintains the same durability standards at a lower price. All materials are thermal transfer printable, has excellent chemical and abrasion resistance and have proven to be successful in the hostile environments in the PCB manufacturing process. Our 1 & 2 mil materials use a permanent acrylic adhesive and are available in a wide variety of colors & finishes. Silicone adhesive is available for applications were extreme heat exposure is a factor. |
